With nearly 30 years in the industry, they look after up to 800 patients and residents every day across England and Scotland. They specialise in looking after people who have mental health problems or who have learning difficulties or brain injuries. Their patients and residents range from young teenagers to people in their 60s.
Their aim is to help people live the happiest and most fulfilling lives they can. They have recruited some of the most experienced doctors, nurses and therapists in their fields.
THE ROLE:
Working with a team providing a service to young people, aged 12 – 18 with mental health problems. The conditions covered include mood disorders, emerging personality disorder, self-harm, bipolar disorder, psychosis and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). They have an on-site school with qualified teaching staff to support young people continue their education whilst staying with them.
Working together with NHS England they offer an inpatient mental health service that will benefit young people living in the South West region.
Their aim is to offer teenagers and their families in the South West hope, and to bring positive change into their lives.
They are a small hospital, just 10 beds with a welcoming, homely atmosphere situated in a lovely former country house in Newton Abbot. .
