With nearly 30 years in the industry, they look after up to 800 patients and residents every day across England and Scotland. They specialise in looking after people who have mental health problems or who have learning difficulties or brain injuries. Their patients and residents range from young teenagers to people in their 60s.
Their aim is to help people live the happiest and most fulfilling lives they can. They have recruited some of the most experienced doctors, nurses and therapists in their fields.
THE ROLE:
You will be working within a unit which specialises in the treatment of patients, from 16 years and upwards, who have severe physical and/ or cognitive problems resulting from a brain injury. They work together with North Bristol NHS Trust, the regional major trauma and neurosurgical centre for the South West Region.
Most of their patients are brought to the unit because of a traumatic brain injury, for example, following a road traffic accident. Other patients have acquired a brain injury through illness such as a brain tumour or infection. They are usually brought to the unit after a stay in an acute hospital once their condition has stabilised.
The site provides live in Support until patients conditions improve.
THE CANDIDATE:
For this role candidates must be RGN Qualified however new graduate Nurses will be considered for this position.
All successful candidates will receive £1000 cash bonus after completing probation and will receive time and half for any over time incurred.
